This is my newest Christmas card. I used the retired stamp set from Stampin' Up! Loads of Love. As you can see, this set can be used for various occasions; Christmas, Valentines Day and more depending on what you put in the pickup bed. I wanted the "scene" to look like you just cut down your own Christmas tree from the forest, loaded it into your pickup and are on your way home. I wanted it to be nostalgic of Christmas' past when this event was a family tradition long anticipated and enjoyed with those you love. This card has been stamped with various inks and lovingly colored by hand with color pencils Below to the left is the clouds embossing folder I used for the background. To the right is the stamp set. Please leave me a comment below. If you wish to purchase this card please go to my contact page and leave me a message. This card sells for $6 plus shipping if applicable.
As always thank you for visiting! Here is a stamp set I purchased from Stampin' Up! last year while still a demonstrator. I love the versatility of these type of sets and I have some fun ideas planned. . . Here is what I have so far.
As Always Thank You for Visiting! I've decided to make this mini album more customizable for you. I've made penquin embellishments and various greeting tags for you to add to your pages as you put your pictures in! The embellishments have foam tape and the greeting tags have strip tape so they are all ready to go. There is even a paper clip for you to clip on a note of your own or a some other memento! I like this so much I may make one of these for myself at a later date! Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I will be working a little more steadily now as the days are passing quickly and the holidays will be upon us before we know it! I am currently working on an instagram mini album and of course more Christmas Cards. My photographer has a full time job now and getting her to take pictures is a bit more of a challenge these days. Please stay posted anyway and I will keep you up to date as much as possible.
As Always Thank You for Visiting! This is the newest mini album I've been working on. I used a penquin pattern for the theme. The pages are all Stampin' Up! designer papers. The eyes are made from various punches and then "googly eyes" are attached for humor. The album is approximately 4.5" X 5.75" and so can accommodate picture sizes up to 4" X 4". I will be adding more pockets, tags and embellishments but I wanted to share with you what I am working on. Please visit my other pages and leave a comment or suggestion.
As always Thank You for visiting! Here are a few more items I've been working on for Christmas. I will probably be posting items with details following later for a while do to being busy in the studio. This way you can follow my progress without having to wait for me to do write ups. If you have any questions or comments please put in for them and I will follow up quickly!
As always thank you for visiting! These are my latest boxes made from Stampin' Up!'s curvy keepsake thinlits die. The pumpkin was made with orange card stock (not Stampin' Up!). I didn't like the flat orange color so I sponged on some Fresh Cantaloupe ink in streaks and used prismacolor pencils and really liked the effect. The pumpkin's face was from S.U. Jack of all Trades stamp set. The tag was from the curvy keepsake die set, also sponged around the edges and stamped with Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set. I then added a few dark green "leaves" from the flower builder punch and then finished it off with a dark green satin ribbon. The snow woman was made with Whisper White card stock. The "buttons" were just punched out circles of black construction paper. The hat was made with designer series paper. Below you can see the tools and supplies I have used for this project. If you have any questions about this project or would like me to make something for you, please either leave me a comment below or go to my contact page.
As always thank you for visiting! Here is a card I created for my daughter. After some bad times, She just landed a job she has wanted for a while doing plan-o-grams at various locations and at various stores. She likes cute and colorful things so I thought she would appreciate this owl card, I made from Stampin' Up's owl builder punch. I also used a mini envelope punch for the teeny tiny envelopes which I "stitched" with a marker to make them pop. Unfortunately the envelope punch is now unavailable (from Stampin' Up!) I then stuffed them with some inspirational fortunes I had saved from various cookies I have eaten over the years (you never know when they will come in handy!) I also used a stamp set that is now unavailable called Take a Spin. This was stamped with black ink, then fussy cut and attached with a spinner arrow brad to the envelope. I am hoping these fortunes and spinner phrases will inspire her in the future when she is feeling down. Perhaps it will at least make her smile! Please leave me a comment below.
And as Always thank you for visiting! I am almost done with this mini album and though I will be glad to have it completed, I think I have enjoyed working on this album more than any of the others with maybe the exception of the western one I made for my friend Denise. I did most of that album from "scratch" and it has special meaning for me. . . . That being said, this is my seventh mini album and I feel like I finally know what I am doing (chuckle chuckle). The stamp sets are really adorable and inspire me creatively. For instance, on the relish the day page, I used some designer paper that I used for grass on another page and with a little squiggling over the pattern turned it into pickle relish. It's also fun to use puns. I haven't yet decided if I will finish this with ribbons like I've done with the others or leave it "bare" so that the recipient can add to it if they wish. Please leave a comment or message me with any questions. Here is another completed page in my new mini album. When I was a little girl, kids would collect lighting bugs in the summer and put them in a jar. I myself never did this because I didn't like bugs. I did however enjoy the magic of watching them in the dark with their beautiful flickering glow. I don't know if kids still do this, (and I wouldn't recommend capturing them for real) but I thought this a fun memory. This page has three pockets for small keepsakes or photos. The tag seems to say it all. . . . I've completed a few more pages, so as soon as my photographer "captures" them for me, I'll post them for you.
As always, thank you for visiting. |
