I made these yesterday. the snowflakes are made with Stampin' Up!.'s anniversary silver glitter paper and their snowflake die cut. The banner is embossed in silver with the sentiment "Season's Greetings". It can be used to celebrate any of the Holidays; Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year! This bottle tag is essentially the same as the one above except it is done in gold.

I don't have any more of these in stock but you can place an order. Please order soon though because I need to allow for reordering supplies and production time. Although I don't have my shop set up yet, you can still contact me here and we can discuss the details. As you can see the card above says O Holy Night and is embossed in gold. There are rhinestones set in the middle of the stars. The envelope is also stamped with the same sentiment and has a single rhinestone. The card below would also need to be ordered. I used Stampin' Up's Gumball green card stock. On top of that is a white card stock with an embossed script. On top of that is a Poinsettia I put together with "leaf" shapes I punched out from a bird builder punch! In the center of that is a yellow flower brad. The envelope is stamped "Merry Christmas" with gumball green ink.
I will be adding more images soon. Please visit regularly to see what's available. Any comments or questions are welcome! I read over my last post and realized, I have become very short and direct in my correspondence in part due to my job, where I started out writing "stories" instead of notes. The irony is that I am helping people with their emotions and need to record these interactions in a way that is direct and without emotion. Those of you who know me for my stories may have an idea of how different this is from my usual style of writing. I think without realizing it, I've kept myself in this mode in my other forms of writing.
In the greeting card business, words need to convey emotions so I would like to apologize and express how much I really appreciated everyone's support. I know some of you had very busy schedules and therefore your effort to make an appearance and show your (emotional as well as financial) support means an awful lot to me. You have made my business a goal worth pursuing. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. This is a picture of the door prize Maurine won. The tag is the same, but the wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon. Congrats!
Thanks to everyone who came to the Open House for your support! Our Open House was a success. More people came than we thought and everyone bought something. We got a few orders so we will be a bit busy for a while. . . a very good thing! I still have one more person to come look today. Here's a table with my gift boxes. Half of these have been sold. Not the one's I would have guessed, so I have a lot to learn about my customers. I hope it will be a life long experience!
The following cards are by order only: This card is a baby announcement. I bought this really cute stamp set and am finally able to use it. I used Stampin' Up's card stock and designer series paper. The front of the card has a label that says "its a boy" with a teddy bear and a little onesie that I used crystal effects on. It's kind of hard to tell in the picture, sorry. I used a pinking shears on the edge of the polka dot strip and then added a brown satin ribbon. The outside of the envelope says "hello baby". On the inside of the card is an insert for you to put your baby's photo. I've repeated the designer sheet patterns and as you can see there's a stamped label for you to put baby's stats. I can do something similar for a baby girl announcement, although it would be "girlied" up. I will have more items for you to see tomorrow. . .
With my Open House just six days away, I am starting to get a little anxious. Stage fright? Maybe. I am looking forward to it though; it will be festive and fun and social.
I welcome your feedback. Please leave a comment on what you think of the items you viewed here. Or what you'd like to see. This card is made with a glittery textured turquoise card stock. I've used a snowflake die cut from Stampin' Up!, pretty designer paper punched in a scallop shape which is held together with a snowflake brad. On top of this I put a pair of mittens punched out on pool party card stock which I "glitterfied" and tied with gold cord. On top of this is a Merry Christmas label embossed in gold. The envelope flap is stamped and inside is lined with the same paper as the scallop from the front of the card. There is no greeting on the inside. I can either emboss a greeting of your choice in gold or leave blank for your own sentiment. This card is made on Whisper White card stock with a blue polka dot designer paper on top. On the sides I put two strips of snowflake designer paper. On top of that are die cuts: doily, Festive Flurry snowflake and another snowflake die cut. On top of that is a pool party blue rose I made with paper clay and a cute mold from Stampin' Up! . The envelope is lined with the same designer paper as the card and the outside is stamped with a greeting and snowflakes. The inside of the card has a greeting (kind of long to put here) The card below is made on Cherry Cobbler card stock. On top of that is a circle of designer paper. The top of the card is labeled Holiday Greetings. Attached to that are a set of mittens tied with a red satin ribbon. The envelope is lined with the same designer paper as the circle on the front of the card. The top flap of the envelope is stamped with "Season's Greetings" and the same coordinating stamp set as the mittens. I will have more for you tomorrow . . .
artist in the studio. . . Be sure to come back tonite for a visit
I really had fun with this box. I like the stripes because they remind me of Christmas candy. Then I thought of those wintergreen mints from Brachs and I just had to add them! The gift tag is made from an ornament punch and a small oval punch. I liked the red satin bow but thought it needed a touch of green, so Voila! there's a small satin green ribbon too! Does this make you think of Hanzel and Gretel? Without the witch though. This small box is covered with red designer Christmas paper from Stampin' Up! It has a Cherry Cobbler tulle ribbon (also from Stampin' Up) and a white satin ribbon that holds a gift tag. The gift tag has two sized scallop punched shapes with a snowflake die cut sandwiched between. On top of that is a beautiful glass faceted button with a rhinestone set in the middle. The sides are finished with scattered rhinestones.
