I just received the pictures from Sabrina last night - I guess I should have been a little more patient.. . . I want to apologize in advance for all the color and lighting shifts. I forgot to put the pictures my daughter took of the card insert and detail of the little cup charm, so here they are. The two pix above are of the front of the new envelope with the attached credit card envelope. I used my new Sizzix die - Baby's Firsts from the bundle that includes the Stampin' Up! stamp set - Something for Baby to make the baby carriage. I first stamped the carriage with Bermuda Bay ink and covered it with - Wink of Stella - to give it a frosty look and then cut out the carriage top. Next, I stamped the carriage with silver ink so that the wheels and handle would look like metal and then I glued the carriage top to the silver image. I added tiny pearls (which are actually white) to the canopy and medium sized ones to the hubs of the wheels. I used velcro dots for the closures. Below is the back of the envelope with designer paper cut with a small scallop punch. This also has a velcro closure.

embossing folder and glued on the base. Then on top of that is another piece of Whisper White card stock and another piece of Bermuda Bay card stock. The baby dresses are embellished with little pearls and ribbons. Though you may not be able to see it from the picture the dresses have been glitterized (gives them sort of a sugar plum fairy look) and attached with dimentionals. The "Congratulations" is stamped with Bermuda Bay ink as are all the greetings. The pin on the envelope has been embellished with a pearl as well.
I finally got something done in my studio this weekend. After I was done though it looked like a burglar had ransacked the room looking for something to heist. I really have no idea how that happened! Here are the cards I promised you: I've been wanting to make some baby cards for a while now. It seems everyone is having babies. Anyway I just got some stamps with really sweet sentiments and I have another set of stamps with a bunny, a teddy bear, onesies and other baby stuff that I thought would look cute with the new little banner punch I got from Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-bration event. On this card I used some "wasabi" (actually washi - I just like saying wasabi. ) tape and a new ticket punch. You can't really see the top of the ticket which has a nice scalloped feature. The background paper was made by sponging on some ink and then stamping over that. I really like this effect, don't you? the bottom background I made from this sweet rosebud stamp I've had for a long time. I did the lining of the envelope with the sponged effect too: The following cards are by order only: This card is a baby announcement. I bought this really cute stamp set and am finally able to use it. I used Stampin' Up's card stock and designer series paper. The front of the card has a label that says "its a boy" with a teddy bear and a little onesie that I used crystal effects on. It's kind of hard to tell in the picture, sorry. I used a pinking shears on the edge of the polka dot strip and then added a brown satin ribbon. The outside of the envelope says "hello baby". On the inside of the card is an insert for you to put your baby's photo. I've repeated the designer sheet patterns and as you can see there's a stamped label for you to put baby's stats. I can do something similar for a baby girl announcement, although it would be "girlied" up. I will have more items for you to see tomorrow. . .
