I still have not finished my Halloween mini album, but here is a card I made for my friend Denise to thank her for her generousity in bringing back some beautiful gifts from her trip to England for my daughter and I. I did this card on Whisper White card stock and distressed in on both sides using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain and then stamping over that with En Francais (script) background stamp from Stampin' Up! Then I deckled the edge of piece of non-S.U. black card stock (O' heavens!) and on top of that I put a torn piece of printed tissue paper. I used the stamp set Vintage Verses for the sentiment. The metal embellishment came from a Vintage Valentine's embellishment package I bought from Stampin' Up! a year or two ago. I should have more to post by the end of the week. As always, thank you for stopping by!

I have been very busy this week, but I did manage to make this little booklet for the Halloween mini. It needs to be sewn together but I like the various elements and wanted you to see how it looked before it was put together. The cover seemed to need something - so I "glitterized" it and found some tulle to put behind the "web". I ended up getting some orange tulle with orange glitter - I love the effect don't you? It needs more, but again I thought I'd give you a preview. If you want to compare how the cover looked before I added the tulle and glitter please see my post on Aug 3rd. I've added various things to the other pages too, which I will post as soon the album is complete. Thanks for your patience. Oh and be sure to check out the History Channel's piece on Halloween on my Fun Trivia page.
Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in quite a while. I have a lot going on. I did manage to get a little more done on my Halloween Bathroom Tissue mini album, but unfortunately I haven't been able to pin down my photographer. I've been having a lot of events with my work that require studying and preparing for presentations. This has sort of zapped my time for other areas of my life, but no worries...I will be getting back to it soon. If you are interested in learning the basics of crocheting, please check out my daughter's You Tube channel. If you just want to be entertained do so as well. She's getting quite good. Please subscribe if you like what you see. Also please come back for a visit next week.
Here's the stamp set I am using and the washi tape; I only have a few pages so far; if you hover your pointer over the pictures you will be able to see the descriptions.... I will post more soon. Thank you for visiting.
