Hi Everyone. I found a way to make these cool realistic flowers (for my wreath that I can seem to finish) and thought it would look pretty on a card. I've use an embossing folder with script and a background stamp with French writing that I just love. I tore and sponged the edges of the paper I printed with the french script as well as the embossed script. I rolled the edges to give it a weathered look. The Happy Birthday tag is from Stampin Up's Curly Cute" stamp set and the inside greeting is from "Full of Life" stamp set. Both of these are also sponged on the edges with Tim Holtz "Walnut Stain" distress ink as is the flower. The pink ribbon is "Dusty Rose"(?) seam binding and the leaves are from Stampin' Up's "Bird Builder" punch. The pearls give it a nice finish, wee? Please leave me a comment below and as always, Thank you for visiting!

I've had this flip-style die for awhile now, but this is the first time I've used it. I've also used two different embossing folders, and an embosslit die with this card as well. I love the colors and think it is very cheery. The detail photo shows off the rhinestones a little better too! Please leave me a comment. As always thank your for visiting.
This is the second post I've made in the slideshow format. I don't know why it didn't occur to me before how well this works. . . I myself find it frustrating to have to scan down to see all the pictures and texts so I hope you like navigating this way as well. This is a custom made Confirmation card and gift box made for a special young woman. The card is made with Whisper White card stock as is the embossed floral frame that is attached to it with Stampin' Dimensionals. On top of that is the symbol of a "Dove" and Olive Branch punched out of Gold Glimmer paper with the Bird Builder punch. The envelope which is also Whisper White is stamped with the greeting "Congratulations" from the Curly Cute stamp set in Metallic Gold Encore ink. The box is 3-1/2"X 2-1/2"X 3-1/2" and covered in a beautiful soft green print from designer series paper. The dove and leaf design is carried over from the card as you can see in the photos. The box is then wrapped with a gold cord. I am really pleased with the simplicity and understatement of the design. This is a little different for me because I generally like things very complicated. Please leave me a comment if you like this design. As always thank you for visiting!
