Hi Everyone. I decided it was time to take down my winter snowflake wreath and put up something more "springy". I am making a paper crafted wreath. I am starting with a cardboard back made from cereal boxes for the overall shape. The flowers are made using various Stampin' Up! punches. I'm also going to try to include butterflies and birds. The flowers will be a combination of solid and designer papers which I am edging with various inks to give them some depth. I am shaping them as well to give them a more 3 dimensional look. This is a work in progress, but I thought I would share the process with you. As always thanks for visiting!

This is the latest card I've made. I am sorry I did not have this available for you last week. . .but here it is now! I had this cool stamp set from Stampin' Up! that I hadn't had the chance to use until now. It is called Blast Off. It is no longer available in their catalog, but you could probably find it on Amazon. This is a very sparkly card. Unfortunately the camera never quite picks this up. The space ship is stamped and fancy cut on glitter paper. The moon and other planet are finished with clear Wink of Stella. The ringed planet has two rhinestones for an extra sparkly effect. This card could be for a boy or a girl who likes things space related. I think this is the first birthday card I have made for children and I hope you like it. As you can see,, I've stamped the envelope with an alien, moon and greeting. Check out my art journal page as well. As always thank your for visiting!
