Since no one responded to my last post, I've decided to be conservative and go with some sweet little cards I made a few years back. I have three and they will go to any one who leaves a comment, totally free no shipping charges! I had so much fun making these and I've actually grown quite fond of them so, silly as it sounds, it will be hard to part with them. I had not discovered Stampin' Up! yet so they don't really look "professional" but I think they have a lot of charm. This first one is made with a Pansy stamp I got from my niece who came over with a tote of stamps one day. The Pansy was hand colored with color pencils, cut out, given a coat of clear nail polish (this was before I knew about Crystal Effects!) and attached with foam adhesive to the top of a piece of designer paper. I don't even remember now how I did the "lace" edging. I used a pretty green ribbon as an embellishment and then added a "Happy Mother's Day" greeting to the top. The inside is blank. The envelope is lined with the same paper as the card and I put another Pansy on the outside flap. This next card was made the same year as the Pansy card and has a Rose which I also colored with pencils and coated with clear nail polish. I then cut it out and attached it to a piece of "designer paper" I made myself with a rosebud background stamp. This in turn was attached to another sheet of designer paper and then attached to another piece of "lace" paper. I believe I used a punch for this effect. Both designer papers are bordered with green satin ribbon. "Happy Mother's Day" greeting is attached at the bottom of this card. The envelope is lined with the same designer paper as the front of the card. This third card was made with a pretty floral embossed designer paper which I attached a dragonfly to from another designer paper. The Mother's Day greeting was cut from the same paper as the Dragonfly. A purple satin ribbon borders this card. The envelope is lined with a matching purple paper and the outside of the envelope has a tiny dragonfly on top of a square of floral paper. Please visit again tomorrow. I have quite a few more cards to show you, but just need to get these out first.

Here is the picture of the free card I promised you. Post your comments today! After remarking to someone very dear to me that no one had left a comment to win this free card (even though the views were quite high) She pointed out that it may not appeal to everyone. Therefore, I decided that the greetings on the inside would be customized to what the winner liked!
